  • confusion of identity
  • insecurity regarding the near future
  • insecurity regarding present accomplishments
  • re-evaluation of close interpersonal relationships
  • disappointment with one's job
  • nostalgia for university or college life
  • tendency to hold stronger opinions

  • financially-rooted stress
  • loneliness
  • desire to have children

More ranting...

Setpoint 1 Destination: I-90E right before the entrance ramp to I-294N
Setpoint 1 Time: 5:22PM

Setpoint 2 Destination: I-90E Cumberland North exit
Setpoint 2 Time: 5:41PM

Total distance travelled: 1.5 miles
Total time spent: 19 minutes
Average speed: <5 mph

Seriously.

Who designed Chicago?

Did it not occur to you that when you merge a two-lane INTERSTATE HIGHWAY with a three-lane INTERSTATE HIGHWAY, that there will be MASSIVE DELAYS if you don't add an extra lane? Hell, the I-90 and I-94 merge DOES add a lane and it's still backed up!!

And throw into the mix the toll... yeah, that's the smartest place to put it... make everyone accelerate from a DEAD STOP right before trying to merge with people who are going 55-80mph

God... with no traffic, I can do my ENTIRE 20 MILE COMMUTE in 19 minutes... (and I've done it before too)

New Phone

My old phone got busted (last me 1.5 years... R.I.P...) so I went out and got a new one. Took me about 5 minutes to decide which one I wanted: the Samsung U740!

It's RAZR-thin (without that annoying lip too), 1.3MP camera/video, Bluetooth, can play MP3s (still looking for a cheap 2GB microSD), can use AIM, check gmail, and all the other bells and whistles.

but... BUT!!!

(wait for it...)

BOOYAH!!!

Full QWERTY keyboard! Perfect for writing text messages or chatting on AIM!

One other cool feature that I have yet to use is "dictate-to-text", where you actually say your text message instead of tapping it out.

I've been playing around with it for about 4 days now and I'm pretty happy with it. I think the best part about the whole thing was that Verizon rolled out a "phonebook backup service", so I just downloaded an app to my old phone, backed up my numbers, then downloaded them to the new phone. I wish I had that 1.5 years ago before having transferred 200 numbers by hand =P

Good ol' Verizon never lets me down! Been a loyal customer for 8 years now and not planning to change. Oh yeah, if any of you want to switch to Verizon, I know of one place that has great customer service! It's in the Circuit City off of North Ave! Ask for Annie ^_^

I've noticed that this is my third Samsung phone in a row too. I gotta admit that Motorola's are damn strong (I've thrown my old one across the floor of Canopy many times and it still worked well enough to give to my dad later on). But I think Samsungs just have that extra novelty that make them stand out. My old phone got a lot of attention (*pop*) and this one's getting attention too. Just gotta make sure noone sees the camera part at work ¬.¬

*edit... pics fixed (I hope)
